Our school chaplain, Frater Josua, is there for everyone - pupils, teachers, educators, staff and parents. No matter what is on his mind - worries, problems, even dealing with religious questions, he has an open ear for everyone with a lot of empathy, support and advice and is there when you need him. 

Offer

The counselling sessions take place in a protected setting. They are possible as individual and group counselling sessions.

 

Causes may be:

  • Worries or problems
  • Counselling in life crises (e.g. bereavement)
  • Questions about faith
  • Difficulties with faith

 

Other School Pastoral Tasks:

  • Organisation of the annual cycle
  • Monastery days as part of the project days
  • Confirmation preparation
  • Monthly school services
  • Way of the Cross for young people
  • Room of silence
  • Place of encounter
  • Altar servers group

Frater Josua, our pastor

Frater Josua Breton OCist. has been a Cistercian monk at Mehrerau Monastery since 2011. He began working as an educator at our schools in 2014. As spiritual well-being is very important to him, he completed his training as a school and boarding school chaplain at the Youth Pastoral Institute in Benediktbeuren in the 2017/18 school year. The amateur footballer has been a school and boarding school chaplain since the 2018/19 school year.
