The Association of Friends of Collegium Bernardi Mehrerau has now grown into the very large "family" of the so-called Altmehrerauer.
Graduates from all over the world meet on this platform to get in touch with each other, exchange experiences or find out the latest news from school, work and private life. The alumni not only cultivate lifelong friendships, they also support each other and offer professional advice. They can also be role models and a foundation for the next generation. Furthermore, the association sees itself as a link between Altmehrerauer*innen and the Collegium: The integration of Altmehrerauer into life at Collegium Bernardi should be permanent.
Active Since 1964
Founded in 1964, the association prioritised material support for the Collegium in its early years. The first school televisions, the school library, our natural history collection and much more are all thanks to the association.
In recent years, the ideational and social components have increasingly come to the fore. The association also helps out in cases of social hardship so that pupils from socially disadvantaged families can take part in important school events such as skiing, sports or language weeks.
